UW Credit Union Routing Number Wisconsin

UW Credit Union is just like other financial institutions. Hence, it has a routing number as its identifier. This number is 2759-7907-6.

If you are a UW union member, then you need to give this routing number to anyone who wants to wire transfer funds to your UW account. However, you must remember that the routing number serves to identify any financial institution in the US. Thus, do not miss any of this nine-digit code because if you do, then your money could end up elsewhere.

Another thing to note is that you can find your routing number at the bottom left corner of your check. Specifically, it would be the first set of numbers you will see at the bottom. However, if you don’t have a check on hand, refer to the number above.

Kindly check information on other routing numbers like UCWU Routing Number, Citibank Routing Number, Bank of America Routing Number, and MACU Routing Number.

Indeed, the numbers on your check could be confusing. It would greatly help if you know what each number set means. Specifically, the three number sets you see on your check are the following:

  • routing number
  • account number
  • the check number.

It could truly be confusing to understand this number. Now, to avoid confusion, just remember the sequence from left to right:

  1. The first set of 9 digits is the routing number.
  2. At the center is the 8 to 12 digit set. This number is your account number.
  3. Finally, the right-most set of numbers would be the check number.

FAQ

???? If I use a different branch for banking purposes but my account was opened in another branch, which one is my routing number?

In order to simplify the banking process, the banks use the branch and location where your account was opened as the one which is your routing number.

???? Can I find out the routing number on my debit/credit card?

No. A routing number is only used for the bank to bank transfers, therefore it can not be found out using your debit or credit card. However, you can bookmark this page for easy accessibility so that you can find your routing number whenever you need it.

Is my Routing Number and Account Number the same?

Routing Numbers and Account Numbers are different. Routing Number is the number that is used for the identification of a particular bank branch, according to location. Account Number is specific and unique to your account. A lot of people will have the same Routing Number but no one will have the same Account Number as you.

  1. The only thing that I noticed while checking in the credit union was the number that said it is 88. I’m surprised I didn’t see it mentioned in the actual post, though, but I could be wrong if this post was written by the other guys with their new credit union in Chicago
