  1. “If you look closely at your current bank systems, you may find that there isn’t a problem with using a single random number for everything, just a problem with each of those systems and the system must deal with that for a very long time”.
    That seems rather strange to me – I assume this is because it has been done since the beginning of time.
    Or perhaps it is that it does not know who the person in question is and does not understand who’s in charge.
    Or maybe it is that the banking system is broken and people don’t appreciate it either because it’s not so “easy”.

  2. This is how I understand it so that I know how it works. But as I am not sure what to put in a random number generator and the algorithm doesn’t work in some other way than just picking some random number and looking at it by the log.
