What is the KeyBank Routing Number?

A routing number is a number you use when you transfer or receive money. You might be wondering what the purpose of the routing number is and why it is so important. Here is a brief explanation for you.

The KeyBank routing number is a nine-digit set used to identify the bank location where the account was opened. This is also a way for the Federal Bank to process the money and send the appropriate documents to the right agencies and authorities.

Without it, there is no way for the processing party to know where the funds will be sent to and its details. So basically, the KeyBank routing number or any bank’s routing number is an identification number both for the account holder and the bank.

  1. I’ve had it all done by people who use Keybank. It also allows multiple companies to choose an account for their company without giving credit card information. I have no real idea where they came from and what they did with it. Though, I’m glad they had it in mind.
