  1. The problem here is the cost of the credit unions. It used to be that there were a lot of high-frequency transactions, but this was done by some small banks. So if you had been to Wells Fargo, they had to spend $1 million to pay that loan in the first place. So, in the end, they’d just be wasting a ton of money and doing a lot of things without making it a good investment in the bank.
